Facebook Alternative

Appreciate the sticker, man. Laurence here. I'm originally from D/FW (when 121 through Frisco was a two-lane road lol) but have been living in Japan for the last 7 years. I'm nearing retirement with the U.S. Navy and it has thankfully put me in locations in which to find plenty of dusties (Wild Turkey, Old Forester, Karuizawa, etc.) and for pre-bourbon boom prices.

I'd love nothing more than to join the Bourbon Real Talk community, but I just can't do Facebook, man. Have you considered an alternate medium in which to communicate with the community?

In any event, I appreciate what you guys are doing. Stay well, friend. Thanks to the missus for processing and sending the sticker.

So glad you are enjoying the podcast, and we thank you for the support. For those who do not want to be on facebook the alternative we have is patreon. This may not be the best option for you because it isn't free and you would be unable to take advantage of many of the benefits living outside of the United States. I share your disdain for FB, but unfortunately it is the best platform to create community. My recommendation is to create a burner account that does not use your real name, and only use the account to access whiskey information. A large percentage of our members operate under a pseudonym. Cheers!
