MEET THE FOUNDER
Bourbon Real Talk™ host Randy Sullivan believes in the connective power of whiskey. That, combined with his love of learning, teaching and loving PEOPLE, brought his podcast to life. Randy lives in the Dallas area with his wife of 23 years, Lindsey and two teenagers.
WHAT INSPIRED BOURBON REAL TALK
For much of Randy's adult life he enjoyed wine, and still does today. In 2015 Randy found himself branching out into whiskey and fell in love with it, specifically Bourbon. His passion for Bourbon grew as he researched and learned more about the various flavor profiles, distilleries, and processes. In 2016, Randy tragically lost his brother to suicide. He was a military veteran and undoubtedly loved by many. It was in the aftermath of this tragedy that kickstarted the Bourbon Real Talk story. Randy realized that Bourbon has a connective power, and that if he could find a way to get people connected to Bourbon, Bourbon could do the rest and connect them to others. He doesn't want anyone to feel alone or unloved. The world we live in can be an ugly place at times, and full of hate. But mission of Bourbon Real Talk is to spread love and togetherness around the American Spirit we all love - Bourbon.
