Jul 16 , 2021

The Lincoln County Process (LCP) is a charcoal filter process used in making Tennessee Whiskey. In this episode we sit down with Lexie Phillips, the assistant distiller with Jack Daniel's. Jack Daniel's is largely responsible for popularising the practice along with the idea that LCP turns bourbon into TN Whiskey. In this episode we discuss is Jack bourbon, what the LCP is, what the process is doing to the whiskey, and I cry a little at the end. Enjoy!
